So... right after my last post guess what happened? Spencer's computer died! Spencer got his computer as a Christmas present from his parents in December 2008 and it started having serious issues several months ago. Unfortunately, it kicked the bucket once and for all. So... Spencer had to use MY computer (lovingly named "Old Trusty" and impressively enough, almost 8 years old) for school/work/homework. That means that since my last post I was stuck at home all day with no computer but a lot of Netflix on TV... (which explains why I'm currently on Season 5 of "Lost"). Luckily I have a REALLY cute baby to keep me company all day every day :)
Speaking of the Behbeh... he's 2 months old! Well, almost. He'll be two months old on Monday. I CAN'T believe how fast he's growing up. Here are some fun before and after pictures and factoids about the Cornetts since Colton joined us:
Colton before: had lots of hair...
Colton Now: has male (baby) patterned baldness
Colton Before: weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz.
Colton Now: Weighs 12 lbs. 9 oz. Yeah... impressive, right?!
Colton Before: Was 20 1/2 inches long...
Colton Now: is about 25 inches long... wowza
Here he was really sad because I stopped feeding him for THIRTY seconds so Spencer could burp him. Also... you can see the cute baby mullet.
Colton Before: Couldn't hold his own head up very well...
Colton Now: is a tummy time CHAMP and master of contortionism...
Colton Before: was swimming in his newborn clothing...
Colton Now: is snuggly filling out his 3-6 month outfits...
Colton Before: pulled some pretty cute faces in his sleep...
Colton Now: pulls some pretty cute faces when he's awake!
Colton Before: had two chins...
Colton Now: has at LEAST two chins...
Colton Before: would eat about 3-4 ounces at once...
Colton Now: will eat up to 9 ounces at once...
Colton Before: was born with the typical baby blue eyes
Colton Now: has eyes that are turning brown!
Amy Before: gained 39 lbs. of baby weight...
Amy Now: has lost all but 7 lbs. (hallelujah!). Not bad since the Doc. said nursing moms retain 7-8 lbs. until they stop breastfeeding. Whoop whoop!
Amy Before: Suffered some major cankles/fankles/elephantitis... (brace yourselves... and this is for you, Sara Young!)
My dear mother was kind enough to use her own fingerprints to demonstrate my monstrous edema. Are you shocked and disgusted yet? This is what 10 and 1/2 hour-long shifts at IMC resulted in.
Amy now: has regular circulation and normally-defined calves and ankles :)
Spencer Before: Spent his down-time snuggling with the baby...
Spencer Now: Spends his down-time snuggling with the baby and the Xbox...
Spencer and Amy and Colton Before: were incredibly happy and incredibly exhausted...
Spencer and Amy and Colton Now: are even happier and even more exhausted...
We're loving life with this little one! 'Til next time...
